How do I hide the number plate in a car photo?
Upload the photos to CarStudio, up to 50 at a time. The plate is found in each one and blurred within the plate itself until it is unreadable; the light, colour and framing do not change.
Why hide the number plate in listing photos?
For privacy and security: a visible plate ties the photos to your vehicle wherever they appear and can be copied onto another vehicle, which is called plate cloning. Hiding it does not hide anything about the vehicle's condition.
How much does it cost?
2 credits per photo, with no subscription. Credits are bought from 30 (€4.50). If a photo has no visible plate, its credits are refunded.
What if a plate is not found?
Every photo is searched for plates, but a small, tilted, dirty or partly covered one can slip through, as can another vehicle's in the background. Check the before and after of each photo before you use it.
